We are very happy to be partnering with Fantasy Football Hub, a hub for FPL and Sky Sports fantasy football tips, articles, guides, tools, forums, podcasts and more.

We can no longer hide the sad reality that we are about to enter the final game week of what has truly been an eventful FPL season. We have seen Chelsea crowned champions, the bottom 3 decided and Tottenham nail 2nd…. However there is the small matter of 4th to play for which makes Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool exciting options against weak opposition for the final game week of the season. Now with such a lot riding on this final week we needed a special guest to help support the resident surgeons and indeed you as listeners to make the right choice to catch up in the overall rankings and your mini leagues.

With such responsibility the Iceman headed into the wilderness of the FPL community to see what he could find and came back with more than we could have bargained for! The Surgeons are joined by JNO, FPL General, Fantasy Pest Sid, Peter Blake, Ian “Houghts” Houghton and Luke “FPL” Thunshot and believe us when we say you are in for a treat as this panel has plenty of good advice with some equally valid conflicting views!

We also welcome back the Iceman’s quiz to decide who will win this FPL community Royal Rumble- something the Iceman instantly regrets as he is greeted with the familiar heckling and discontent of the panel! We answer your social media questions and talk all things final game week in this installment of the fantasy football surgery podcast!!!! UP THE POD!

61stEpi – DGW37 – Have faith in Spurs

With two precious game weeks left We are finally at the much anticipated HUGE double game week 37! With loads to play for in the Premier League, titles to decide, top 4 to confirm and teams to be relegated, this week provides a minefield for FPL managers.

FPL Pest Sid (no that is his twitter handle @fantasypest we are not being rude!) joins the surgeons to contemplate this crucial game week.

Which big teams should you bank on? Is the title done and dusted and does this rule out Chelsea? Do Spurs still offer value? What if Jose, Wenger, Klopp and Pep’s battle for the top 4? And can anyone save the relegation candidates and indeed your FPL side’s season?

We discuss this and answer your questions in the penultimate edition of this season’s Fantasy Football Surgery Podcast! Up the pod!

60thEpi – GW36 – San(c)hez?

With two double game weeks approaching and wildcards requiring spending we are at the business end of the season! This calls for extra expert advice and who better than previous guest Miikka @Huapis and FPL Statto @FPLStatto to join us! Once again listeners are treated to their differing views on some key fixtures.

The big names in the DGW? Well initially we have Arsenal and Saints on a double double but should you jump on these two or is there false economy? Then in GW37 we have title chasing Spurs, leaders Chelsea and top 4 hunting Utd and City. How can you fit in the big hitters and offset them with cheaper enablers?!

We cover the rest of the GW36 fixtures, discuss our captain choices and finish with our “must haves” and “differentials” for the rest of the season!!!

All this and the usual chatter at in the GW36 edition of the fantasy football surgery podcast! UP THE POD!

59thEpi – GW35 – Survived the DGW? How about another two! WC chat

The surgeons are joined by Peter Blake (@artemidorus_1), FPL statistical whiz and a regular in the twitter community. He, Bully and the Iceman discuss the fallout from DGW34. Have the surgeons come through unscathed or is their performance going to damage their run ins?!

Having spent weeks anticipating the double exploits of Boro, Palace and Utd, we plan for DGW36 and DGW37. Should you invest in Southampton and Arsenal sides that have 4 games in a 2 week period, or is this just false economy? Each surgeon has their own view.

We answer your questions including who the ideal striking line up would be for the run in, which individual players would drop DGWers and which defenders can you bank on for this period?
